Your questions, our answers

Are you looking for information about Thuasne, or one of its products or services? Find the answers to your questions here.

I WOULD LIKE TO BUY A THUASNE PRODUCT. DO YOU SELL THEM DIRECTLY?

Thuasne products are medical devices subject to reimbursement by national health insurance schemes. Consequently, they must be sold by a health professional, who will also provide you with all the medical advice you need concerning their use. We therefore advise that you contact a local pharmacist, orthopaedic specialist or physiotherapist for advice.

WHERE CAN I FIND A DISTRIBUTOR TO SUPPLY ONE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

Our products are available from all pharmacies or orthopaedic suppliers. These health professionals will advise you on the most suitable product for you. If a product is not available immediately, any order confirmed by your health professional to our services before 3 p.m. is delivered by Thuasne to the same retail outlet the next day.

I THINK A PRODUCT THAT I BOUGHT IS FAULTY. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

All around the globe, the “made in Thuasne” label is based on extremely high quality standards; Thuasne has always focused on excellence, out of respect for patients. If you think a product you have bought may have a defect, do not hesitate to tell the health professional who supplied it to you. We will then carry out various checks with him/her depending on the product concerned.

THE PRODUCT I ORDERED IS NOT THE RIGHT SIZE FOR ME. CAN YOU EXCHANGE IT FOR ME?

Thuasne products are medical devices. Consequently, you need to contact a health professional, who is the only person able to supply the product or change its size.

THE LABEL INDICATES A VAT-INCLUSIVE PRICE. I PAID MORE FOR THE PRODUCT. WHY?

The VAT-inclusive price indicated on the box corresponds to the amount reimbursed by national health insurance schemes. It is not the public retail price.

CAN YOU SEND ME A CATALOGUE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?

All our product ranges are accessible on our website at this address. However, our distributors also have paper catalogues available.

HOW SHOULD I WASH MY PRODUCT?

Most of our products are machine-washable at 30°C. However, we advise you to consult the washing instruction symbols indicated on the label of each product. If hand washing is recommended, use detergent-free soap and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, gently squeeze out excess water and dry the product flat, away from direct heat.

WHAT IS THE BEST PRODUCT FOR MY CONDITION?

Your doctor alone is qualified to prescribe you the most appropriate product. He/she knows your condition, your history and has regular contact with you. He/she is therefore the best person to answer all your questions concerning the most suitable product.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY FOR MY THUASNE PRODUCT.

As long as they are used correctly, all our textile and silicone products have a 6-month warranty.
Thermometers have a 2 to 3-year warranty depending on the model.
Blood pressure monitors have a 5-year warranty.
Small medical equipment (walking sticks, walkers, toilet seat raisers, etc.) has a 1-year warranty.
Our pressure ulcer prevention products have a 1 to 3-year warranty depending on the model.

DO YOU MAKE MADE-TO-MEASURE PRODUCTS AND ARE THEY THE SAME PRICE AS A STANDARD PRODUCT?
